North Carolina Society for Clinical Social WorkThe Voice of Clinical Social Work since 1979Our focus is to promote and advance the specialization of clinical social work in all settings. We strive to achieve the highest standards of clinical social work practice through education, advocacy, and collegial support. We endeavor to serve the social work community by providing exceptional clinical training, promoting the highest standards of ethical practice, and advocating within the state government to advance and protect the integrity of the profession. Our Dedication to Diversity & InclusionThe North Carolina Society for Clinical Social Work actively promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion within programs, membership, and publications. Our commitment to equity includes groups who have been historically marginalized, underrepresented, and/or actively oppressed. This includes, but is not limited to people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, people with disabilities, people of all body sizes/types, neurodiverse people, and those marginalized for other reasons not mentioned here. We recognize that this is not an all inclusive list of all who have been oppressed. We as an organization, are actively working to both affirm and elevate these voices. This is a living statement and as we continue to learn and grow, we are open to feedback on how we can continue to improve the diversity and equity within our organization. If you have thoughts and/or ideas of how we, NCSCSW can elevate and/or affirm diverse voices, please email us at [email protected] The Benefits of Membership
