Ethics in Supervision

Join us for a virtual Ethics training & networking event!

This training will provide 2 CE Credits and is FREE for members.

As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • identify at least 1 ethical principle reflecting our ethical obligation related to providing accessible services in both supervision & therapy spaces
  • identify their definition and practice of accessibility within their supervision and therapy practice
  • self-evaluate and teach self-evaluation of explicit and implicit bias toward various communities 

Biography

Erica Smith owns a private practice and also works as a Clinical Director with a group practice. She is a clinical supervisor, EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant, and equity educator. Erica primarily serves individuals who have experienced trauma, specifically interpersonal violence, chronic illness, racial trauma, and/or religious trauma. After being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus when she was 12 years old, and Intertestistial Lung Disease as an adult- she has experienced multiple hospitalizations, surgeries, medical tests, and prescription changes over the past decades. As such, Erica has developed the desire to support others learning to live with various abilities and capacities.
